ADFM National Caregivers Support Network will be having its February Caregivers Sharing Session on “HANDLING STRESSFUL BEHAVIOURS AND DEMENTIA” which will be facilitated by Dr Esther Ebenezer, Consultant Psychogeriatrician from the Perak Royal College of Medicine. She also operates a Memory Clinic at Ipoh Specialist Centre. Dr Esther with her extensive experience in dementia care is the Chairman of the Perak Dementia Society which operates a day-care centre in Ipoh.

As
this will be a hands-on sharing session, Dr Esther will begin with a little
theory behind disturbed behaviours and followed by case management. Karen Hung,
from Ipoh, will talk and share her personal experiences on how she takes care
of her AD Mom and how to handle her own stressful behaviour. The session will then open for discussions and
more sharing of experiences from other caregivers.
For logistic arrangement, prior registration is required.
